My heart was racing like a horse

You argued with your friend for being late
Scolding me again for the delay
Even though the ride was for 40 mins
It felt like a lifetime
God, how I wished
There were more traffic jams
Along our way just so that
I could sit beside you for more time

But Destiny brought you to me in this cab

And finally the destination did come
You realized you didn’t have cash
You had to kill your ego
And asked me for help
